The Christmas lghts will be switched on at 5pm on Wednesday 2nd December
Also the Annual Live Nativity and Carol singing evening will take place on Friday 11th December, with the procession starting from outside boots at 5.45, down to the Square for 6.00 for the live Nativity, then over to the Indoor Market (after a carol on turf square) for the presetations of best decorated houses and shop windows
The Council are grateful to all school children that support the evening's activities, and also to Llanrug Band for their annual support. FronGoch have also sponsored the best decorated house cmpettion again this year and we are grateful to Fron Goch for their continued support.
The evening should be finished by approximately 7.30

Caernarfon Royal Town Council Garden Competition awards evening
The Council’s annual awards evening took place on Wednesday 10th October.
Fron Goch are the main sponsors, along with Gwynedd Council and Caernarfon Royal Town Council.
Our thanks to Mr Dafydd Williams for his hard work as the judge.
The Mayor, Cllr Myfi Powell- Jones presented the awards

Saturday 14th July 2007 - Caernarfon Veterans Day Parade A fantastic day was had by all in Caernarfon on Saturday. Thousands of people watched the Drum Head service outside the Sailing Club. Over 500 Veterans from all over North Wales and further a field marched around Caernarfon, and the weather crowning the day.
A garden party was held with entertainment provided by Caernarfon Male Voice Choir and the ATC corp of drums. Huge congratulations to all those involved with the organising of this prestigious event - lets hope it comes back next year.
Pictures can be seen of the afternoon parade as well as the evening's Beating Retreat where the Regimental Band of the Royal Welsh, The Combined Corps of Drums of Clwyd and Gwynedd army Cadet Forces along with The Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines Plymouth took part.
